Anyways the story is about this dude who transmigrated into this northern king villains body. And in the og story the villain king dies after the mc that he captured, escapes and got his army back, so the new villain king (transmigrator) released the mc to save himself and they got closer and stuff, but events from the og novel still happened and the new villain king had to flee. He disguised himself as a girl and got into a carriage yada yada but the mc chased him and blocked their path, and they had this whole confrontation but in the end the villain king still chose to leave and the mc got mad and threw the jade hairpiece that the mc’s mom gave the mc, on the ground and broke it.

Novel updates is a great one, you don’t read on the site it just provides the links to the site with the novel. I’ve been there for years already. You don’t really need an account but it’s better because you can save your reading list.
