Mine is when webtoons that are more than capable to have their characters don in intricate and complex dresses but couldn't be bothered to have a coachman on their very visible carriage. Unless they specify that the horse-drawn carriage is the tesla of that universe (as in being a self driving one) it just breaking immersion from the story. There is no reason for this. Just crop out the box seat, if you dont wanna waste your time with a background character. I get so annoyed to the point of combustion.

I just wondering guys, why so many readers here complaining about toxic seme & indebt uke x mafia seme trope but ok with story contain excessive scenes of rape/gang rape, sexual violence staff and other disgusting staff.
For example people love Pearl Boy & Missing Love which have all shet i've said above.
But at the same time they hate Jinx, Waterside Night etc.
To me toxic seme or what hater called typical trope (indebt uke x mafia/rich seme) still makes sense rather than glorify excessive rape/gang rape for the name of storyline.
Please share your opinion, no hate I just want to understand some hater viewpoint.

Jinx and waterside night also have rape in them. And the toxic ml x indebt mc eventually leads to sa and same with the mafia stories. I myself am a sucker for mafia ones but then stories like roses and champagne and the side stories of mad dog (I loved the main story..I even reread it a few times)have rape in them and with a rating of 9.4 or 9.5...just open the comments of jinx and see how many people justify the ml... regardless of whatever he did.
There is always a rapist protection squad in the comments either it's of jinx or roses and champagne or any other. With the constant "what did you expect he's a mafia"..."rape is just part of the story progression"..."but he did aftercare "..."mc doesn't look like he's not enjoying "
Just a general question. Why is it that they cry about it being rape when an old man or some random dude does it but it's not so when the ml does it. The art.The ml is always attempted to be made the buff..hansome guy.So many people on here are down for the art so bad that they even resort to protecting the ml. I love beautiful art too and I love handsome men too. But do I go defending their wrong. No.
There's no point in asking it even if this was your genuine concern because if you try to tell them wrong they get way too defensive or aggressive.
Personnally i got triggered = ruffled up and super unconfortable with Jinx and Pearl Boy season 2-3 _ but i can stomach Missing Love and Ourobouros, because they both show the physical and mental consequences of abuse, in a way that is digestible (for me ) _ i can't speak for other people. _
I do check their reading list out of curiosity and admire actually (at first). I thought if they said jinx & waterside night bad so they might have high standard so I had high expectation for their reading list..

Jaekyung is an as$hole since the beginning but it's more like harsh sex with consent (mostly) from Dan. Well it's the trope indebt uke x as$hole rich seme.
Compare to rape scenes in missing love & pearl boy jinx still readable to me ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Especially jinx I've read by Alex before so I know it will be toxic seme with sa or force s€x etc and I'm more into the progress of the ml to change to be a better person for mc. That's what I'm looking for!
Not continuing sa/gang rape with no end, like what for? To me it's simply irrational even in story.. To cruel to me personally.. And people love it which I don't understand and they hating story less cruel than that..

Though I feel like the "lie" ability wasn't completely explored or well used. If someone is a "False" even simple affirmations can't be said, so how did Jinsol even have a social/school life? If the teachers ask them If they cheated on the exam, he would have to either cheat at every exam to be able to answer "No" or get caught without cheating, and other stuff like that. Living as a "false" would be pretty much impossible. So some of the dialogue doesn't make sense considering Jinsol, and later MC were "False", but I guess that writing an authentic false wouldn't have been exploitable in a story (imagine the chaos of the dialogue lol).
On a side note, why'd those two recover so quickly. They looked like they were barely holding on to dear life before

What threw me off is just the very heteronormative couples that we see when they arrive in Korea. The thing is, I like couples that have different body sized or when one is more masculine and the other is feminine. But what threw me off is that every gay couple is like that.
